About UsCumbernauld Theatre grew up along with the new town of Cumbernauld and is the artistic and cultural heart of the community. Recent years have seen a great deal of change in the organisation and we have grown to enjoy a national and international reputation for producing quality arts experiences for a wide ranging and diverse audience. Our VisionTo bring the artist and the audience together in a way that is mutually beneficial, changes perspectives and shapes the future. In doing this we recognise and value each experience as unique and apply it to the wider development of our society and culture. We focus these experiences around a programme of performance and workshop activity directed at a wide range of participants with particular emphasis on youth and community access. What We Do
Who Helps UsHelping us achieve all of this are Scottish Arts Council, North Lanarkshire Council, our sponsors Scottish Power Learning, and Business Club members Morgan Stanley. Without their generous support in the form of grants and donations we would not be able to bring the range and breadth of experiences to over 50,000 people per year. We are, in short, the best in the world at what we do!
