Family Open Days
Our Family Open Days offer a great opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes of our lovely little theatre. A chance to try on costumes, get hands on with arts and crafts or join one of our taster workshops, there is always something for everyone.
International Women’s Day
Our annual celebration of this important day includes workshops, live performances and an exhibition of local art. We hope you can join us next year!
We Live Here Too
In May 2018, Cumbernauld Theatre Company presented Mothers; a production which was staged as part of a series of new performances made with members of our community.
Spanning a 4 month period of intensive work with mothers in our community, these incredible women shared their own stories with audiences at the theatre.
The performance was part of the We Live Here Too programme – a three year creative collaboration celebrating the theme of family- bringing to the stage real life drama with stories from people living in and around the area.
We Live Here too aims to:
Connect with real families and celebrate their story through theatrical performance.
Create an opportunity for a family to receive a high quality arts experience removing all potential barriers to participation
Create a dynamic and professional performance piece, through collaboration and engagement.
Keep an eye out for our next project and details of how to be part of it.
The People’s Company
