Business Manager Vacancy

£21,500 per annum.

Full time, based on 35 hour working week.

This is a maternity cover position and is offered on a 10 month contract, with a potential to expand to 12 months, commencing in April 2012.

Cumbernauld Theatre seeks an experienced Business Manager to ensure the trading activities of the organisation are developed implemented effectively so that the Theatre is able to deliver excellent creative services.

As such the role requires a broad range of management skills effective across the organisation, with a particular focus upon successfully running the commercial element of the organisation, engaging with appropriate financial planning and leading the human resource development. The Business Manager will also support the Artistic Director across the Creative Programme.

The successful candidate for this position will be highly motivated and possess a flexible and structured approach to a busy working environment, experience and/or interest in the creative economy sector and a strong commercial business understanding.
