Brian Miller - A Celebration of His Life and Work

Brian Miller, one of the founder members of the Theatre in the early 1960’s, was a prolific artist, playwright and community organiser.  Throughout the past 40 years, Brian played an active role in making Cumbernauld an exciting place to live and work.  From his time as the town’s resident  Town Artist creating sculptures and murals in the 1960’s and 1970’s, through to his wonderful Community Plays involving thousands of people over 20 years, Brian’s contribution to the civic life of the town was remarkable.

All are welcome to join us at Cumbernauld Theatre for an informal celebration of Brian’s life and works.  Featuring readings from some of his plays, an exhibition of his visual art work, and an anecdote or two from friends, as we remember Brian Miller and his wonderful wit, energy, talent and imagination.

Admission is free – donations on the night with all proceeds to Stathcarron Hospice and MacMillan Nurses.
