We caught up with the main himself to try to figure out what might be in store when he visits Cumbernauld Theatre this Spring:

Before becoming a successful comedian you trained as a hairdresser – what was your worst hairdressing moment of all time?

One day I bleached this girl’s hair at home and I told her, her hair might be too knackered to survive it and she insisted I did it anyway then when I took the rubber cap off her hair came away with it!  Oops!

What is your most memorable moment on stage?

I think when Jason Byrne and Adam Hills whipped my kilt off in front of 600 people for a comedy sketch.  That god I have a massive sporran!

Any regrets?

Once I wore navy blue and black together, does that count?  It’s an absolute no no!

Best achievement?

Finding a career that I love doing so much

Worst fear?

Spinning too fast in my kilt and revealing EVERYTHING!

Any bizarre fan mail / gifts you have received?

I have a lovely stalker called Margaret who turns up every time with flowers, a tie, cuff links and a backing tape so we can duet!
